This isn’t your typical guided sightseeing tour. It’s a small-group mountain adventure with plenty of opportunities to hike, explore, take photos and make unforgettable memories.

About The Trip

Welcome to the Italian Dolomites. This nine-day adventure begins in Venice before heading north into the heart of the Dolomites, where we’ll spend seven nights exploring the region’s incredible mountains, lakes and hiking trails. We’ll visit famous locations including Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Seceda, Lago di Braies, Alpe di Siusi, Lago di Sorapis and Cinque Torri. Expect early mornings in the mountains, spectacular hiking trails, scenic road trips, plenty of photography opportunities and relaxed evenings back at our accommodation. Aventara takes care of the accommodation, group transport and selected activities, giving you more time to enjoy the experience. Whether you’re travelling solo or joining with friends, this is an opportunity to experience the Dolomites with Maverick and a small group of adventurous people.

Venice → Alta Badia / Dolomites → Venice

After meeting in Venice, we’ll travel into the Dolomites and settle into our mountain accommodation for seven nights. From our base, we’ll explore the region through day trips to famous hiking trails, lakes and mountain viewpoints, before returning to Venice at the end of the adventure.

Where We’ll Stay

We’ll spend our first night in Venice before heading into the Dolomites for seven nights in comfortable shared accommodation. Our accommodation in the Dolomites will be based around the Alta Badia region or another conveniently located mountain village, giving us access to incredible hiking trails, lakes and scenic viewpoints. Expect a relaxed, social atmosphere with shared accommodation and opportunities to spend time with the group after each day’s adventures. Final accommodation details and rooming arrangements will be provided once bookings are confirmed.

This trip involves several hiking days in mountainous terrain. A reasonable level of fitness and confidence walking on uneven trails is recommended. Some hikes, including Lago di Sorapis, are more demanding and may involve steep or exposed sections. Activities are weather-dependent, and suitable alternatives may be arranged when necessary.
