Guests planning to fly fish are strongly recommended to bring a 8wt fly rod or heavier. Alaska salmon can be extremely powerful and lighter setups may not be suitable depending on conditions and target species.
Do I need fishing experience?
No. Some spots are beginner-friendly, but this is still an outdoor fishing trip, so guests should be comfortable with variable weather and flexible plans.
Do I need my own gear?
Yes, Fishing gear is not included. Guests can bring their own or arrange rental/purchase locally.
